Make a splash with WAY during Watershed Week with Watershed Discovery at Keystone Kidspace. This event is a FREE hands-on learning experience focused on watersheds and their health on Tuesday, September 24th from 10am-12pm.
Students will be broken into groups and will rotate through the several stations to learn about what a watershed is & how it works, how we impact our watersheds with things like non-point and point source pollution, actions we can take to better care of our watersheds, and about different critters living in our watersheds that depend on them being healthy. Stations will be both inside and outside and will also include a free play rotation to enjoy the fun within Keystone Kidspace. Also making an appearance will be the Kinetic Kreations human hamster wheel for snow cone making!
This opportunity is free for any student - we recommend aged 8 - 13 to best enjoy. Please fill out a form to register your student(s). Parents/Guardians must stay on-site while students are discovering watersheds.
