Art & Science Camp

Monday, June 23-Friday, June 27, 2025
9am-12pm

Art and Science go hand in hand! What types of art can you make while doing science experiments? How can we use the chemical properties of materials to create unique pieces? Explore and experiment in this fun art camp. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.

This is a drop off camp for ages 11-14.

This camp is co-hosted with Creative York: For over 34 years, Creative York, an arts organization located in downtown York, Pennsylvania, has ensured every interaction with our students, artists, donors, and community members is focused on providing the confidence to discover and express unlimited imagination and innate creativity.

About the Instructor: Kayle Krebs
Kayla is a stay-at-home mom, who has a passion for art. She has a background in teaching and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from Kutztown University. She loves to learn new things and share them with others. What she likes most about teaching is sharing in the discoveries her students make as she guides them to new understandings. Since earning her degree, she has been teaching art classes, camps, and substitute teaching in local schools. She enjoys working in a variety of different art mediums and has come to love creating fiber art pieces. She is looking forward to creating more art and teaching more classes through Creative York.
