Learn about the basic baking skills needed for making various quick breads, including pancakes, cookies, muffins, scones, coffee cake, and even cupcakes! We will learn how to make baked goods that use chemical leavening agents like baking soda and baking powder.
Stephanie has spent the last 14 years teaching culinary arts at Central York High School. She is passionate about teaching kids, both big and small, to cook, whether they are looking at a career in the food service industry or just looking to learn some basic life skills. When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and working in her vegetable garden.
