Join us for a FREE coding workshop designed for aspiring programmers ages 8-10 (1-2:30pm session) or ages 11-13 (2:45-4:15pm), led by 13-year-old computer programmer, Jameelah Diallo, a member of Hack Club.

This by kids, for kids workshop gives young coders the chance to learn from a fellow student in a fun, encouraging environment. Whether they’re brand new to coding or ready to build on existing skills, participants will explore programming concepts through hands-on activities led by a peer who shares their enthusiasm.

Please note: participants must bring their own laptop to participate.

This workshop is free to attend, put pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Jameelah Diallo

Jameelah Diallo is a student leader with a passion for technology, creativity, and helping others learn. She is a member of her school’s Student Council and a soon-to-be-inducted member of National Junior Honor Society. She has also volunteered with Creative York and serves as a Hack Club Stardance Ambassador. Jameelah enjoys coding, reading, sports, and creative problem-solving, and is excited to introduce students to the world of programming through hands-on, engaging activities.
