Saturday, November 7, 2026
12:30pm-2:30pm
Every great adventure starts somewhere… Are you ready to roll? 🎲
Designed for ages 11-15, Roll for Initiative is an introductory Dungeons & Dragons workshop that breaks down the fundamentals of the tabletop role-playing game in a welcoming, hands-on environment. Adventurers will create their own characters, learn the basic game mechanics, and discover the magic of storytelling and collaboration together. The session will finish with a thrilling practice round of combat!
Dungeons & Dragons is all about thinking creatively, making decisions, and working together to navigate unexpected challenges. With guidance from our Dungeon Master, Alex Searer, participants will build confidence and connect with fellow adventurers as they learn to play.
No experience necessary! Roll for Initiative is a drop-off program designed for first-time players, with everything needed to get started provided by Keystone Kidspace.
Ready for more? Roll for Initiative prepares players to join future Keystone Kidspace Roll for Adventure one-shot sessions, where the real quests begin! ⚔️
Disclaimer: A minimum number of 4 registered participants is required for this program. If your child is planning to attend, we encourage you to register early to help us confirm the program!
