Parking at Keystone Kidspace is easy - there are hundreds of spaces available in the Smalls Field parking lot across the street. Thanks to the York City School District, visitors to Keystone Kidspace are able to park there free of charge.

The only exception is when the York Revolution is playing a home game.  On these days, the team charges visitors to park in that same lot. Keystone Kidspace visitors can choose to pay the parking fee or will be redirected to other parking slightly further away. Refer to the baseball schedule prior to visiting so you know your options.

Keystone Kidspace happily welcomes large groups, and we encourage you to reach out to us ahead of time so we are ready for your visit and can help you have the best experience possible. We can also arrange a special activity for your group for a modest additional fee if arranged prior to your visit. Please call ahead to plan your visit.

Why wait? Purchasing a membership online before your visit will streamline the process and maximize the fun. You can absolutely show up and purchase day passes or a membership in person. You can even apply the value of your day passes to a membership if you do so before you leave Keystone Kidspace on the day of your visit!

Yes. All kids participating in activities at Keystone Kidspace will need to have a current waiver on file, completed by their parent or guardian. Waivers will need to be renewed [annually] and you will be prompted to complete a new one when an existing waiver is getting ready to expire.

We encourage you to fill out your waiver(s) online ahead of your visit. But don’t worry - you can also fill out a waiver for your child in person.

We care about safety so usually no. The only time a kid can be dropped off at Keystone Kidspace without their grown up remaining in the building is when that kid is pre-registered for a class, camp or similar program with an instructor or counselor. Otherwise, children under the age of 16 cannot be at Keystone Kidspace without a responsible adult.

We know that you and your kids will have so much fun with us that you’ll want to be able to visit often! Memberships are priced affordably to make that possible. And with our flexible structure you can bring any configuration of kids with you each time you visit - your 3 kids one day, and your son and his best friend and cousin the next.

Yes! Becoming a Keystone Kidspace member can entitle you to free or reduced admission to dozens of fun institutions across the country. In order to qualify for this benefit, you must purchase an annual membership.

While Keystone Kidspace may not be a traditional children’s museum, we are a huge fan of children’s museums and want to help our members visit these special spaces when they travel. To that end, Keystone Kidspace is a proud member of the Association of Children’s Museums’ Reciprocal Network – a network of over 200 ACM member museums open across the US and Canada that offer discounted admission to members who hold annual memberships at other participating children’s museums. This benefit is only available to families who purchase an annual membership to Keystone Kidspace. You will be entitled to 50% off general admission to other participating museums for up to six (6) people, including the membership cardholder who must be present.

Keystone Kidspace will offer an array of “grab and go” style snacks and refreshments, but will not have a full cafe or restaurant. Kids and their families will be able to enjoy a good cup of coffee or a lemonade during their visit, and will find plenty to keep the munchies at bay.

Refreshments will also be available for sale to the general public, including travelers on the Rail Trail who might need to take a quick break during their travels.

We’d love to! We offer several packages, making it easy for you to host a unique birthday celebration that your child and his/her friends will never forget. Click here for more info.

Absolutely! Keystone Kidspace has a number of unique spaces that are perfect for events of all kinds, including smaller classroom/meeting spaces, creative open spaces for large events, and private outdoor space along the Creek with views of the ballpark and downtown. So whether it’s meeting space for a small group, event space for a milestone birthday celebration, or multiple spaces throughout the building for a large fundraiser or wedding, we will happily work with you. An added bonus: Our facility offers plentiful parking, easy loading and unloading, and kitchen space for caterers. Click here to be connected with a staff member who can share more information.

Our focus is on kids ages 6 and up, particularly through middle school. But we know that families travel together, so our spaces are designed to also be safe for younger siblings and comfortable and engaging for older family members. We hope that teens will choose to remain involved as volunteer mentors and staff. And we plan to offer occasional adults-only after hours events and programs, because grown-ups like to play and tinker too!

The facility is ADA compliant and we make every effort to ensure that all visitors are welcome and safe in our space. To accommodate learning differences, sensory issues and other developmental challenges, we will reserve certain daytime hours for our special needs visitors and provide accessibility aids when possible.

No! While we believe that you will love it here so much that a membership will ultimately make sense for your family, we are also open to visitors who would like to purchase day passes and drop in for the afternoon. Keystone Kidspace will offer a calendar of classes, camps and workshops, many of which are likely to require pre-registration; but during regular business hours much of the facility will be open to the general public and we will host many large-scale community events.
