The facility is ADA compliant and we make every effort to ensure that all visitors are welcome and safe in our space. To accommodate both kids & their grownups with learning differences, sensory issues and other developmental challenges, we reserve certain Quiet Spaces for our special needs visitors and provide accessibility aids when possible.

Quiet Space is available in the Hangout (first floor) & the Chillatorium (second floor). Please let a team member know if you are looking for a Quiet Space, and they will help you find it.

Keystone Kidspace is a certified Sensory Inclusive facility, registered with KultureCity®, a nationally recognized organization that provides sensory inclusion training and tools to venues and large-scale events. Keystone Kidspace is proud to be part of a program that includes a combination of staff training, sensory bags and special signage, all designed to create the best experience possible for guests with sensory needs.

  • Our staff is trained on how to recognize guests with sensory needs and how to help individuals experiencing sensory overload.
  • KultureCity® Sensory Bags containing special KCVIP badges, feeling thermometer, fidget tools, and noise-canceling headphones are available to borrow (at no cost) at our Front Desk. Sensory bags can be used for all abilities of all ages.
  • We also offer a Social Story that provides a virtual guide of a typical day at Keystone Kidspace and points out where guests with sensory needs can find resources when visiting. Social stories can be utilized by parents, caregivers, and educators. Please use these social stories as a tool to help prepare for a visit to Keystone Kidspace.
